Job Description:
A Reputable Oil & Gas company is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports for our clients.
Responsibilities:
– Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
– Prepare and analyse financial statements
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
– Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
– Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
– Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards
– Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
– Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills
